Coming from a family background rooted in carpentry and construction work in the Philippines, the interest in art for this individual began at a young age. In their family, the saying "You're not a Revilla if you can't draw" underscored the importance of everyone's ability to conceptualize and construct things. Growing up in the Philippines and Saipan, they were exposed to a blend of Asian and Pacific Islander cultures, which profoundly influenced their art and contributed to shaping their identity.
Having earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting in 2021, their educational journey paved the way for their current roles as a design teaching assistant at UT Austin and Gallery Assistant/Curator at Ghost Pepper Glass. Their artistic passion lies in creating humorous characters and vibrant illustrations, drawing inspiration from their cultural heritage. Through their art, they aim to bring joy into people's lives and share the richness of their cultural background.
