Elizabeth Lopez is a painter, photographer, and writer living in Austin, Texas. In 2004 she graduated with a B.A. in Fine Art from the University of Texas at Austin. In 2007 she received an M.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Regarding her art, she says, "Response is an interesting occurrence that propels my work. When you, the viewer, come in contact with an idea displayed through color, form, symbols, and abstraction, it satisfies me that maybe I can extend a bridge from my experiences to yours. And maybe somewhere, we can sift through everything together and make sense for a moment in this fortunate, but loud experience called 'life now.'"
