Paying Homage to Our Collective Memory and future

Paying Homage to Our Collective Memory and Future – Ride | Walk | Art | Community | History | Future

Join us for a community celebration of the Pillars in our East Austin Community. Ride your bike and/or walk along the EastLink Trail to the Pleasant Valley Bridge underpass at Rosewood Avenue as six artists from the communities along the trail reflect on collected histories and create a community mural that aims to express how the history of communities along the Trail can be the foundation for its future. Participate by adding your history and desires for the future of the Trail.

The Pillars Project was produced and curated by Public City in collaboration with Raasin in The Sun. This project is commissioned in partnership with the City of Austin, Austin Parks Foundation and Mueller Foundation.
