"We believe art is how a city remembers who it is — and decides who it wants to be."
Our MissionRaasin in the Sun is a nonprofit based in Austin, Texas, that transforms everyday spaces into places where everyone feels they belong. We work with artists, neighbors, and local partners to bring color, creativity, and connection to communities that deserve to see themselves in the city they call home.

A City Where Every Wall Tells a True Story
our visionWe imagine an Austin where every place reflects the people who made it — bright, welcoming, and alive with creativity. Where the artist who painted the mural earned a fair wage. Where the neighborhood that inspired it recognizes itself in the art.
That's not a dream. That's what we're building — one project, one community, one wall at a time.

Art thrives when people show up for it.
Support the MissionRITS runs on the belief that community is something you build on purpose. Every dollar you give puts art in neighborhoods that need it, and real wages in the hands of artists who deserve them. This is how Austin stays Austin.
