Hello!

Unfortunately we are cancelling tomorrow’s event due to the rain forecast. While we know the weather can change at a last minute’s notice, as of now it looks likely to be scattered thunderstorms all day tomorrow, and our priority is everyone’s safety. We will be postponing until next weekend, Sunday 5/23, at the same time, 1-2:30pm, at 2011 E.M. Franklin Ave. for our event celebrating the Resilience Project and community advocates in & around the MLK Neighborhood (East Austin).

As a reminder... The new RESILIENCE mural pays tribute to the significant contributions of African American leaders in blocks surrounding this mural.- The Raasin in the Sun Team as well as representatives of the honorees (or honorees themselves) will be speaking at next Sunday's  event.
