Join us Saturday, January 18, 2020 10 am to 12 pm for the Second Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service hosted by Austin Black Pride, HRC Austin, and Raasin in the Sun.

We will be meeting at the Givens Park Pavilion

We encourage you to bring yard gloves, a garbage bag, and any spare yard tools you may have. Dress appropriate: wear closed toe shoes, jeans or long pants, and a long sleeved shirt.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. believed in the power of service to strengthen communities and achieve common goals. Through his words and example, Dr. King challenged and empowered individuals to take action and lift up their neighbors and communities by volunteering.

This annual event honors Dr. King’s legacy and provides an opportunity for all people to renew their own personal vows of citizenship through service to others.
