PAID MURAL ASSISTANTS NEEDED

ART for ALL helps people experiencing housing insecurity in Austin create art, earn income, and connect with the community. Together, artists and participants are turning the Austin Central Library garage into colorful murals that share stories of hope, pride, and belonging.

ART for ALL offers individuals experiencing housing or economic insecurity a chance to:

  • EARN SAME-DAY PAY - Assistants earn up to $200 in cash for 4 hours of work

  • CREATE PUBLIC ART - Participants help professional artists paint murals

Assistant Eligibility

ART for ALL is funded through federal grant dollars and is specifically intended to serve individuals experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness. Participants must meet the program's eligibility criteria.

To be eligible, individuals must currently be experiencing housing insecurity, such as:

  • Living in a shelter or transitional housing facility.

  • Living on the street or in a place not meant for human habitation.

  • Living in a vehicle.

  • Temporarily staying with friends or relatives due to eviction or loss of housing.

Financial hardship alone does not qualify someone for this program. Funding is specifically designated to support individuals who lack stable housing, and we are legally obligated to ensure those funds are used for that purpose.

We appreciate your understanding and your help in ensuring these limited resources reach community members who need them most.
